Another focus of ANMM, Inc. is in public safety, crime prevention, and security. Safety and the rule of law are the backbones of peaceful and prosperous nations. Democracy in most developing countries in Africa and other places in the world are failing because of lack of the rule of law. We believe in the promotion of safe and peaceful societies in developing countries worldwide. Any country that fails to combat criminal activities, where citizens live in fear, criminals, terrorizing citizens and foreign nationals, roam about freely without any resistance from the police or the military would deter foreign investors, tourism and hinder private sector job growth as well. Without improvement in public safety, such countries could suffer from terrorist activities, civil wars, and other instabilities. African Neighborhoods and Medical Missions, Inc., therefore promotes neighborhood watch security teams who serve as deterrents to prevent crime. The goal is to have these security teams in every town in Ghana, the African continent and eventually around the entire world. This would decrease crime and prevent terrorism around the world so that we can all live in peace.
