Based on the empathy and love to care for the underserved, under-privileged, widows, homeless and those living in severe poverty, Dr. Andrew and Mrs. Margaret Ankamah founded African Neighborhoods And Medical Missions, Inc. (U.S.A) and Good Samaritan Medical And Rehabilitation Missions (Ghana) in March and August 2013, respectively. Dr. Ankamah currently serves as the president of both organizations. Dr. Ankamah is also the CEO of his own private practice, New Jersey Sports and Spine Medicine, P.C., in Somerset NJ, USA.
Dr. Andrew and Mrs. Margaret Ankamah have had passion for worldwide missionary work since they were very young. When growing up in their native country of Ghana, they were touched by the generosity of missionaries from the U.S.A, Europe, and other countries around the world that visited and cared for the under-served communities in the urban, rural areas and sometimes very remote villages of Ghana. God requires his people to support the weak and the poor. Jesus taught us that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” Act:20:35 (KJV). The scripture also teaches all of us to love one another “and now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity” 1st Corinthians 13:13 (KJV).
